About

The art of coding, and the people behind it.

SlimSoft stands for elegant programming — the belief that code should not only work and be correct, but be beautiful: composed with intention, structure, and non-standard approaches. The care that goes into a well-placed line of code isn’t so different from the care that goes into a well-placed line of ink.

It is also deeply personal. The letters of the word Slim carry the first letters of my family’s names — the people the work is really for.

Experience

Twenty years, mostly where mistakes are expensive.

I have spent more than two decades writing software, most of it inside banking and insurance systems — places where any mistake can draw a Ministry of Finance complaint and lawsuits worth millions, and “it usually works” is not an answer. That is where the discipline comes from: databases first, then C# and .NET, then the REST integrations that get systems talking to each other when they were never designed to.

I did not arrive through a computer science degree — I came from linguistics and taught myself the rest, which left me treating a system the way you treat a sentence: the structure is the meaning. SlimSoft is where that goes now — AI automation, data work, and custom software for businesses that want the enterprise standard without the enterprise weight.

The name is my family.

S · L · I · M — Sarrah, Leah, Igal, Michal, Maya and Meital. My daughters, my wife, and me — the reason the structure exists at all.

SLIM hand-painted in ink over a Japanese landscape, each letter tied to a family name: Sarrah, Leah, Igal, Michal, Maya and Meytal.
Symbol Language

One mark, drawn by hand.

The SlimSoft symbol is a single figure — a geometric circle and dot, with an inked stroke running through them. It adapts to each project without ever losing itself.

The core symbol

It stands in for the “o” in SlimSoft — the one letter drawn by hand. The circle and dot hold the structure; the ink is the human line through it. Logic and intention in a single figure.

One mark, many domains

The same figure takes on the work it stands for. The geometry and the hand stay fixed — only the context around them changes.

Beyond the code

The mark keeps the holidays.

A few times a year the SlimSoft wordmark dresses up for a Jewish holiday — a letter swapped for a tower, a matzah, the tablets of the law. The same soul that lives in the mark, out celebrating.
